If we hear the word oatmeal, the first thing in our head might be cholesterol and heart disease. Oatmeal is a perfect daily food for people with high cholesterol and heart disease because the grain is able to absorb the oil in our body. Some people do not like the plain taste of oatmeal, but actually, we can be creative by adding the oatmeal with fruits, cinnamon, or raisins. This meal is not only delicious, but it also helping us on losing our weight.

Oatmeal is a perfect food for losing some weight because the fiber transforms into a gel form and fills up our stomach, with that way; we do not easily feel hungry. If we used to eat in a big portion, we can also eat oatmeal in a big portion if we want to, because no matter how much portion that we eat, the oatmeal does not give us any fat that will add our weight. A portion of oatmeal only consists of two grams of fat, and since it is made from grain, the fat that we get is unlike the fat that we get from meat or ice cream, so we can feel free about the oatmeal portion. The oatmeal does not have so many calories, one regular portion of oatmeal is only consisting of 110 calories, and the type of calories is not dangerous for our body.

If we use the instant oatmeal for our diet meal, we should pay attention to the ingredients that we use and the cooking process. We only need a minute to make an oatmeal for breakfast. We only need to boil a bowl of water to be added to the dry oatmeal. We can find various taste of oatmeal, from chocolate, sweet and even vanilla. Since we want to loss some weight, we had better choose the one with plain taste. If we do not like the taste of plain oatmeal, we can replace the water with milk, but remember, we have to choose the milk with free fat label. When eating oatmeal with milk is boring, then we can create various healthy recipes using oatmeal as the basic ingredient, we can find the recipe on the internet.

Eating oatmeal as our diet meal can give us satisfying outcome. If we only want to rid several pounds, then we can directly feel the effect only in one or two month. However, if we are dealing with obese, eating the oatmeal will able to control our food consumption, but we have to support it with regular exercise and healthy life.     Really interesting post. I don’t love oatmeal but i like it with a little bit of sugar and cinnamon; not sure if it’s the healthier way to eat it, but it’s delicious. I will try to use it as part of my diet and let you all know how it was for me. Thanks!
